Direct Support Professional Evening Shift

About the role

Bancroft is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for full-time, part-time, and per diem positions in adult day and residential programs located in Cherry Hill, Voorhees, Mt. Laurel, and Medford. The mission is to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and neurological challenges, promoting independence and community inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Affirmatively assist individuals with their daily living skills
• Participate actively in the life growth of each individual
• Promote independence through skill development and implementation of individualized care plans
• Advocate for community inclusion by planning activities and outings
• Support the Bancroft Mission, Vision, and Core Values

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and/or neurological challenges preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications

• Ability and willingness to work weekends

Skills

• Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Knowledge of mental health techniques
• Understanding of patient care assistant roles
• Ability to work in a team environment

Pay

$19.06 - $19.44 per hour
