About the role
Direct Support Professionals are the backbone of MRI. They assist individuals in gaining freedom and independence by helping with daily tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily tasks such as waking up, preparing meals, and engaging in recreational activities.
- Support individuals in achieving their goals and fostering independence.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of Direct Support Person training in accordance with state regulations.
- Maintain status on the Habilitation Aid Registry.
Qualifications
- A positive attitude.
- A willingness to learn and contribute to the community.
Skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with individuals with disabilities effectively.
