Direct-Hire- Production Coordinator- Onsite- Los Angeles

About the role

We are working with a growing fashion company that is looking for a Direct-Hire Production Coordinator. This person will manage styles from development through bulk production, helping ensure timelines, quality standards, and cost targets are met.

Responsibilities

• Track production calendars, milestones, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with vendors and factories throughout the production process.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders.
• Review samples and support pre-production approvals.
• Maintain accurate records for fabrics, trims, and finished goods.
• Communicate updates and changes with design, merchandising, inventory, and shipping teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and delays.
• Help improve processes, efficiency, and accuracy across production operations.

Qualifications

• Strong production planning and production management skills.
• Excellent organization and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple styles, timelines, and documents.
• Clear and effective communication skills for internal teams and external vendors.
• Knowledge of apparel production processes, materials, garment construction, technical packs, measurements, and quality checks.
• Proficiency in Excel, spreadsheets, and production management tools.
• Previous experience in apparel production, sourcing, or operations within a fashion or lifestyle brand is highly preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Los Angeles and adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Degree in Fashion Production, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
