About the role
BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for Direct Care Workers (DCW) to care for our clients in the following counties: Lehigh, Wayne, Pike, Monroe, Carbon, North Hampton, Schuylkill, Berks, and Bucks.
As an accredited, regulated, certified, and licensed home health care provider, BAYADA complies with all state and local mandates. We are celebrating 50 years of compassion, excellence, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing and grooming
- Toileting and nail care
- Range of motion and exercises
- Transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home management tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance
Qualifications
- Successfully complete the Direct Care Worker (DCW) Training Program provided by BAYADA, if you have no experience
- Must have reliable transportation
