Direct Care Worker (DCW)

About the role

We are currently hiring experienced Direct Care Workers (DCWs) in Newtown, PA (18940) to provide in-home care to seniors. This role requires a caregiver with 2–3 years of proven experience working with elderly clients, who is compassionate, professional, and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks: bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Perform light housekeeping, meal prep, and medication reminders
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful daily routines
• Follow care plans accurately and document services provided
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience working with seniors in a DCW, CNA, or HHA capacity
• Reliable and verifiable professional references are required
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (day or night)
• Must pass background checks, TB test, and physical exam
• Reliable transportation is preferred
