Direct Care Support Staff

Starting rate: $16.00 per hour.

If you are a compassionate, caring, energetic, creative, and fun individual who enjoys helping individuals with disabilities achieve their greatest potential, Futures Through Choices has an open position for a Direct Care Support staff.

Responsibilities

• Help clients become as self-sufficient as they are physically and mentally able, including:
  • Helping the client prepare meals
  • Assisting with hygiene needs (toileting, showering, changing briefs when needed)
• Help clients make the best choices for themselves, such as choosing healthy menus, while promoting their right to make choices
• Take clients out into the community and attend events with them
• Prepare crafts and other appropriate activities for the clients
• Ensure the living area, including all contents and surrounding areas, is in a safe and sanitary condition, including:
  • Basic housekeeping
  • Laundry

These opportunities allow clients to achieve a greater level of independent living.

Pay

$16.00 per hour.

Schedule

Part-time, entry-level position with the following shifts available: mornings and swings.
