Direct Care Support Staff

About the role

Futures Through Choices is seeking a compassionate, caring, energetic, creative, fun individual who enjoys helping individuals with disabilities achieve their greatest potential. This is an entry‑level, part‑time Direct Care Support staff position.

Responsibilities

• Help clients become as self‑sufficient as they are physically and mentally able, including meal preparation and assistance with hygiene needs (toileting, showering, changing briefs).
• Support clients in making healthy choices, such as selecting nutritious menus, while promoting their right to make choices.
• Accompany clients into the community, attend events, and prepare crafts and other appropriate activities.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary living environment, performing basic housekeeping and laundry tasks.

Pay

Starting rate: $16.00 per hour.

Schedule

Available shifts: Days 9 am – 3 pm and Graves 10 pm – 6 am.
