About the role

Futures Through Choices is seeking a compassionate, caring, energetic, creative, fun individual who enjoys helping individuals with disabilities achieve their greatest potential. This is an entry‑level, part‑time Direct Care Support staff position.

Responsibilities

• Help clients become as self‑sufficient as they are physically and mentally able, including meal preparation.
• Assist clients with hygiene needs (toileting, showering, changing briefs as needed).
• Support clients in making healthy choices, such as selecting nutritious menus, while promoting their right to choose.
• Take clients into the community, attend events with them, and prepare crafts and other appropriate activities.
• Ensure the living area, its contents, and surrounding areas are safe and sanitary, performing basic housekeeping and laundry.

Pay

The position pays $16.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Available shifts: mornings, swings, and graves.
