Direct Care RN Full Time Days

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and design personalized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments, and evaluate patient responses
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Monitor and record vital signs, observe changes in patient conditions, and respond promptly with appropriate interventions
• Utilize sound clinical judgment to address complex health situations, consult with medical team members as needed, and document all care in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
• Ensure patient safety, adhere to evidence-based protocols, and foster a supportive and empathetic environment
• Perform competent level of nursing care using the nursing process
• Possess clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by clinical area(s)

Requirements

• Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire
• Additional Life Support requirements defined by the clinical area based on position (e.g., ACLS, PALS, Oncology Nursing Society certification)
