Direct Care Professional R49

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour, increasing to $22.00/hour after one year of benefit-eligible employment.

Schedule

• Saturday: 12pm–8pm
• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 3pm–8pm
• Additional 2nd and 3rd shifts available (part-time, full-time, relief/per diem)

About the Role

Direct Care Professionals support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program. You will assist with daily activities and ensure a structured routine, including:

• Individual community outings
• Meal preparation
• Activities of daily living
• Personal care
• Medical appointments
• Medication distribution

Community outings provide opportunities for individuals to integrate into the community based on their interests, such as movies, shopping, dining, baseball games, and bowling.

Requirements

• Compassionate personality with a desire to make a difference in someone’s life
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Qualifying criminal background check and driving record
• Valid driver’s license and use of your personal vehicle
• TB screening and physical required upon hire, with TB updates every two years
