About the role
RSR Human Service Zone partners with the Department of Health and Human Services to deliver exceptional human service programs to our community. As a Direct Care Associate, you will provide in-home care, transportation, shopping, and housekeeping duties to elderly and disabled citizens to support their continued ability to remain in their own homes and communities. This position will be based out of Ransom County but requires travel to surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home care, transportation, shopping, and housekeeping duties to elderly and disabled citizens.
- Support the continued ability of elderly and disabled citizens to remain in their own homes and communities.
- Work independently with compassion and a passion for helping others.
Requirements
- Experience working with elderly and/or disabled individuals.
- Must be able to travel independently.
- Age 18 or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent with two years of experience providing direct care to special populations.
- A current CNA license is preferred.
- This position requires daily travel and performing duties in private homes.
Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- The Department of Health & Human Services does not offer or provide sponsorships.
