Job Summary

Home Helpers of Martinsburg is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Assistant to join our team of caregivers in Martinsburg, West Virginia. As a Direct Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to seniors and individuals in need, helping them maintain independence and dignity in the comfort of their homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
• Help clients with medication management and administration
• Encourage and support clients in maintaining their physical and mental well-being
• Maintain accurate and timely records of client care and services provided
• Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans
