DIRECT CARE 2 - 30 Hours

About the role

Join RTR and make a meaningful impact by helping individuals with disabilities build job skills, gain confidence, and move toward community-based employment. In this role, you’ll provide hands-on support in one of our most structured program settings, working closely with a collaborative team to guide individuals toward greater independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-job coaching and supervision in 1:1 and group settings at program sites and community businesses
• Help individuals develop job readiness, workplace behavior, and functional skills
• Implement employment and behavioral support plans in partnership with Case Managers and leadership
• Track progress through daily documentation, assessments, and payroll tracking
• Auxiliary support for transportation and participation in community-based job sites
• Assist with hands-on care and behavioral support, including trained safety interventions
• Maintain a structured, supportive environment while modeling professional workplace behavior
• Collaborate with team members and help train and support new staff

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet
• Successful completion of all state and agency mandated trainings
• Willingness to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning allegations from Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS), and other agencies
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
