About the Role

The Director of eBusiness Technology oversees Motion’s team of integration specialists, leveraging eprocurement, EDI, and XML technologies to seamlessly integrate with customers and suppliers. This role requires current expertise in eprocurement, punchout, and XML/EDI technologies. Eligibility to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business leaders to plan and implement solutions aligned with Motion’s ebusiness strategy.
  • Develop and manage teams of integration and operational eBusiness specialists.
  • Prioritize customer and supplier integrations based on business priorities.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Accounts and Motion Digital Business Development managers to execute new customer integrations.
  • Develop tactical plans to implement policies, structures, and resources for high-speed, high-performance integration.
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party marketplaces such as Ariba, Perfect Commerce, Hubwoo, and others.
  • Lead strategic ebusiness technology initiatives with a focus on next-generation integration solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.
  • At least ten (10) years of experience leading teams and developing integration technologies (OCI, XML, Punchout, EDI).
  • Proven track record of leading customer and supplier technology integrations.
  • Experience with 3rd party marketplaces such as Ariba, Coupa, Perfect Commerce, and Hubwoo.
  • Broad technical knowledge across IT areas: infrastructure, development, operations, and quality assurance.

Skills

  • Excellent leadership ability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Traditional EDI document knowledge required.
  • Experience with IBM B2B Integrator a plus.
  • Ability to influence and build strong working relationships.
  • Skill in negotiating compromises and resolving conflicts.
  • Experience with Agile development practices.
