About the role
The Director leads the daily operations of outpatient practices at Scripps Coastal Medical Center, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, service quality, and exceptional patient and provider experiences.
Responsibilities
- Ensures operational excellence, financial performance, service quality, and exceptional patient and provider experiences across the medical group.
- Provides strategic leadership for the growth and development of the medical group.
- Oversees business planning, operational performance, physician practice support, and the development of managers, supervisors, and staff to drive productivity, quality outcomes, and customer service.
- Works in partnership with the Regional Medical Director for Pediatrics to align clinical and operational strategies to achieve organizational goals, support service line growth, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Four years of direct management experience in the healthcare industry.
- Ability to effectively direct healthcare business and operational practices.
- Ability to develop long-term plans for healthcare operations.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applicable systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, with specific skills/experience in Pediatrics.
