Dining Room Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Dining Room Supervisor who is passionate about providing exceptional dining experiences and leading a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, friendly, and ready to make a positive impact on our residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison between front of house and back of house to ensure accurate and timely completion of resident and guest orders.
• Maintain a clean dining room set up to company standards for all meals and functions.
• Greet all residents and guests with a smile, ensuring each person feels valued and well-served.
• Collect and address resident suggestions and comments to continually improve dining services.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and keep track of dining room small ware, table ware, and linen.
• Evaluate dining services through quality assurance audits and maintain accurate meal count reports.
• Remove walkers from the dining room and return them promptly after meals.
• Explain menu selections to residents and guests.
• Be an active member of the community's emergency response team.
• Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies.

Requirements

• Must obtain accredited food handler certification within 60 days as per State guidelines.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Word and email.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One to two years of related experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Great customer service attitude and the ability to interact well with staff, residents, and guests.
• Able to give and follow written and oral instructions.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

$27.00/hr. - $30.00/hr.

Schedule

Full Time Schedule: Monday - Friday: 6:00a.m. - 2:00p.m. | 11:00a.m. - 8:00p.m. | 2:00p.m. - 8:00p.m.
