Dining Room Manager

About the role

A typical schedule is approximately 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM. This position offers a leadership opportunity in a full-time setting at Arbor Terrace Lake Worth in Lake Worth, FL.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the dining room to ensure exceptional resident satisfaction.
• Lead, coach, schedule, and develop the dining service team.
• Train new team members on hospitality standards, service techniques, table settings, and side work.
• Create a warm, welcoming, restaurant-style dining experience for residents and their guests.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and customer service.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure seamless meal service.
• Address resident requests and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Monitor dining room presentation and ensure consistent service excellence.
• Promote teamwork while fostering a positive and engaging work environment.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a restaurant, hospitality, country club, hotel, senior living, or food service environment.
• Experience training and developing front-of-house team members.
• Strong customer service, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment.
• Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences and building strong relationships.
