The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for actively managing the operations of the dining room, including staffing, accountability, and sanitation in accordance with health department regulations, and for maintaining a positive physical and social environment for residents.

Responsibilities
- Manage dining room operations, including staffing, accountability, and sanitation per health department regulations.
- Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and orderly, adhering strictly to infection control, food‑borne illness prevention, hazardous chemical handling, fire safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Schedule and reschedule staff using independent judgment, handling time‑off requests and other schedule modifications.
- Track attendance and communicate disciplinary needs to the Director of Dining Services.
- Perform hosting and serving duties as needed.
- Assist in maintaining a positive physical and social environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Relevant work experience (2+ years preferred).
- Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Effective communication with residents, families, staff, and the public.
- Formal training in food service management or the culinary arts, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to supervise dining services employees using independent judgment and discretion.
- Meet all health requirements and pass a criminal background check.
