About the role
Contract position through October 2022 with a possibility of extension. Remote, though the client prefers a local candidate in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex who can work onsite as needed. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Transformation.
The Digital Project Manager will support the digital team on a personalization product for Sally Beauty, focusing on four key areas: Appliances, Blonding, and two others. The role involves implementing a personalization tool to enhance customer experience, allowing personalized home pages based on user behavior (e.g., displaying blow-dryer ads if the customer previously searched for one). The project is currently in the planning stage, transitioning to design within the next 3 sprints.
Responsibilities
- Analyze project requirements and review budgets and schedules.
- Develop detailed plans, monitor progress, and write reports.
- Liaise with teams, clients, and managers throughout the project.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients and professionals.
- Coordinate and provide executive summaries and key milestone updates.
- Identify and resolve issues while adhering to specifications, time, and cost estimates.
Requirements
- Practical experience with Salesforce Marketing and/or Commerce Cloud, Confluence, and Jira.
- Basic understanding of CRM personalization, site personalization, marketing data, and IT flow best practices.
- Experience working within sprints, Kanban, or Agile environments.
- Understanding of MarTech architecture and data flow between environments.
- Experience managing multiple PM software systems (e.g., Jira, Monday.com, Asana, Trello).
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP), particularly Interaction Studio (Salesforce).
- Ability to identify risks and problems, network, and build relationships.
- Excellent management, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Positive attitude and deadline-driven mindset.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar Digital Project Manager role is advantageous.
