About the role

This remote position will primarily support Business Enablement activities for key digital experiences for our annual conference, the National Teaching Institute & Critical Care Exposition (NTI), with opportunities to extend into other product experiences over time. Some travel may be required.

Responsible for leading and executing digital product ownership and delivery to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Serves as a key decision-making partner with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders in developing and refining product strategy, roadmap planning, and requirements definition. Leads core aspects of Agile product execution, including backlog prioritization, sprint planning support, and user story development, to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee effective digital product ownership and delivery that supports the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Develop and refine product strategy, driving alignment with business goals and market trends.
  • Define and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, incorporating key milestones, features, and deliverables.
  • Conduct market research, user feedback analysis, and competitive analysis to gather insights and define clear product requirements.
  • Create and prioritize user stories, ensuring they are well-defined, actionable, and aligned with the product vision.
  • Manage and plan product owner activities to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames.
  • Direct Agile product development activities, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and sprint reviews, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of product increments aligned with business objectives.
  • Champion collaboration across design, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution, unified communication, and alignment of strategic goals throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating clear, consistent communication to gather actionable feedback, manage expectations, and drive product alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Lead end-to-end product launch initiatives, analyze performance metrics, and translate user insights into strategic enhancements that optimize product value and elevate customer experience.
  • Monitor market trends, evolving customer needs, and emerging technologies to identify strategic opportunities for product innovation, differentiation, and lifecycle optimization.
  • Oversee the development and continuous improvement of comprehensive product documentation—including user guides, release notes, and technical specifications—ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with product evolution and stakeholder needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience with responsibilities in project/product management and business analysis.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, with a track record of successful digital product delivery.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies and product management best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Azure, SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence) and knowledge of prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma) is a plus.
  • Understanding of digital product management principles and processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels across the organization.
  • Ability to work independently to analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions, and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide consultation or expert advice to management in areas of expertise.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms), and project/product management tools such as Azure Boards and DevOps.
  • Ability to define and refine product strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends.
  • Lead the creation and ongoing maintenance of a comprehensive product roadmap, incorporating key features, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated skill in conducting market research, analyzing user feedback, and competitive landscape to define clear product requirements and drive decision-making.
  • Expertise in leading Agile product development processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews to support timely and successful product delivery.

Pay

The target pay range for this role is $124,948 - $156,185.

Schedule

37.5-hour workweek with 3 different schedule options.
