Digital Onboarding Specialist 1
The Role
The Digital Onboarding Specialist at Summit Credit Union engages in significant discussions about a variety of products and services, including deposit accounts, crafting loan solutions, and handling phone inquiries. Their primary goal is to enhance members' financial well-being and make decisions that benefit the members while considering the credit union's interests.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to new members through engaging discussions about products and services.
- Provide expert advice on the right solutions for members' lending needs.
- Adhere to established multi-factor authentication procedures to reduce the risk of fraud.
- Achieve service and sales metrics by implementing a structured curriculum, coaching, and feedback.
- Increase departmental operations through involvement in departmental initiatives.
- Pursue professional development efforts to enrich careers.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations such as BSA, OFAC, and the USA Patriot Act/Customer Identification Program (CIP).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two years’ lending experience required.
- Sales experience required.
- Professional well-developed written and interpersonal communication skills essential.
- Knowledge of deposit accounts and loan products.
- Ability to adapt and respond to changing situations and multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
- Working knowledge of basic business math, including ability to perform calculations such as dividend, interest, payoff, equity, and certificate penalty calculations.
- Ability to accept loan applications and payments and perform routine maintenance on basic consumer loans.
- Must have or be able to attain a Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) number.
