Digital & Media Strategist
Position Summary
The Digital & Media Strategist (DMS) plays a key leadership role in helping shape and execute the public voice and digital presence of the Louisville Institute (LI), an LEI-funded grant initiative at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (LPTS). This position manages and is responsible for developing and implementing creative marketing strategies to increase engagement, enhance brand awareness, and ensure the organization’s mission and impact are conveyed to diverse audiences. In addition, this role manages social media content, tracks engagement analytics, collaborates with various LI constituencies, and aligns with LPTS to amplify storytelling and promotional efforts. As capacity allows, and in collaboration with the VP for Communications & Brand Management, this position may also support and manage communication-related needs for Louisville Seminary and other grant-funded programs.
About the Role
This role requires a deep understanding of digital strategy, social media management, and brand management. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating and executing digital campaigns, managing social media platforms, and analyzing data to inform strategy. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders are essential.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative marketing strategies to increase engagement and brand awareness
- Manage and curate social media content to enhance LI's online presence
- Track and analyze engagement metrics to inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate with various LI constituencies and LPTS to amplify storytelling and promotional efforts
- Support and manage communication-related needs for Louisville Seminary and other grant-funded programs as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, social media management, or communications
- Experience in grant-funded organizations or non-profits preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive strategy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in social media management tools and CRM software

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually.
