Responsibilities
- Support Lionsgate’s Global Content Servicing team in day-to-day workflows for VOD/Linear and Fast Channel deliveries.
- Order digital files, foreign language assets and closed caption/subtitle files from the Lionsgate library of feature film and television programming from outside vendors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major streaming clients including Criterion Channel, Free TV Networks, Philo and others, coordinating directly with client teams, addressing questions and ensuring all deliveries remain on schedule.
- Monitor and manage high volume order queues with tight turnaround times, consistently achieving service level deadlines.
- Work with various cross-functional teams to ensure the flow of production media assets through the Company is efficient, secure and optimized.
- Track and order metadata and artwork requests based upon partner specs.
- Ensure source assets are restored and conformed as required.
- Communicate and document internal rejections to the appropriate teams.
- Other tasks as needed to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- Understanding of various media formats such as video, audio, image and timed text.
- Understanding of industry format standards such as PAL, NTSC, timecode, framerate, codec, audio settings/configurations, metadata (title and technical – html, xml).
- Understanding of media encoding, transcoding, and file transfer protocol.
- Knowledge of Broadcast Deliverable Specifications.
- Knowledge of Media Transfer Mechanisms (Aspera, Signiant, etc).
- Understanding of Media Content Protection.
- Knowledge of SOP Security Protocols.
- Proficient skills working effectively in a fast-paced team environment managing high volumes of orders without error.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail and is self-motivated, creative, and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems.
- Able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal abilities and communication skills.
- Ability and interest to work in a geographically diverse environment.
Preferred Skills
- General Editing/Studio/TV/Film/Pre or Post-production experience.
- Experience in UHD, HDR, 4k, 6k (Dolby Vision/HDR10).
- Experience with metadata formats, including but not limited to XML, CSV, XLS, and HTML/CSS.
- Experience with workflows in multiple locations across multiple time zones.
- Experience in customer service.
- Ability to learn and process information quickly is a plus.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience.
Pay and Schedule
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; 9am - 5:30pm
