About the Role

The Supply Chain Operations (SCO) Digital Marketing Specialist within McKesson’s US Pharmaceutical Distribution (USPD) organization plays a vital role in executing digital content strategies and marketing initiatives that support SCO’s value proposition. This position is responsible for maintaining consistent messaging across internal and external channels, focusing on digital channel execution, content publishing, and optimization to align with organizational priorities. The specialist will collaborate closely with supply chain, product management, and enterprise marketing teams to translate strategic initiatives into compelling digital content. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong content management skills, capable of leveraging various digital platforms to enhance engagement and drive the SCO marketing narrative. The position is based in Ft. Worth, TX, with a hybrid work model that includes onsite and remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and optimize SCO’s digital marketing initiatives, campaigns, and strategies to support organizational goals
  • Manage and publish digital content across McKesson’s enterprise channels, ensuring alignment with brand voice and standards
  • Leverage key channels such as websites, intranet, SharePoint, and email to deliver compelling messages to targeted audiences
  • Develop and refine digital content to enhance clarity, accessibility, and engagement, maintaining consistency with SCO’s value proposition
  • Partner with digital enablement teams to track analytics, measure content performance, and implement improvements for increased engagement
  • Regularly review and update content to ensure accuracy and relevancy across all platforms
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to develop high-quality, visually appealing content and collateral
  • Develop landing pages, microsites, and other digital tools to support marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Identify optimal channels and placements to maximize reach and impact of marketing messages
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sales, marketing, design, and other internal partners to ensure cohesive messaging
  • Drive digital enablement efforts, including content distribution improvements and adoption of new digital tools or AI solutions
  • Support marketing events and programs by contributing to planning, content development, and execution activities
  • Analyze feedback and performance metrics to continuously improve content strategies and campaign effectiveness
  • Stay informed on the latest digital marketing trends and best practices, actively participating in the marketing community
  • Assist with ad hoc projects, content development, and cross-functional initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, content strategy, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in marketing, digital marketing, or content strategy
  • Proficiency in creating digital content for websites, email campaigns, and social media platforms
  • Strong editing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content (preferably familiar with AP style)
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with attention to deadlines and detail
  • Knowledge of digital content management systems, email marketing tools, and analytics platforms
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
  • Familiarity with healthcare, distribution, or pharmacy environments is a plus
  • Experience with go-to-market programs and product launches is desirable
