Position Overview

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing digital marketing initiatives that support Alexander Group’s brand, thought leadership, and lead generation goals. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution across digital channels including paid media, organic search, social media, email marketing, and the firm’s website.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies aligned with firm-wide marketing and business objectives.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize digital campaigns across SEO/SEM, paid media, social platforms, email marketing, display advertising, and content syndication.
  • Manage and optimize programmatic and paid advertising initiatives, including budgeting, targeting, and performance optimization.
  • Optimize website traffic, user experience, and conversion rates through SEO, content marketing, and CRO best practices.
  • Partner with the portfolio marketing team to build and manage a digital content and distribution calendar aligned to brand messaging and priorities.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of email marketing campaigns, partnering with the broader marketing team on list management, content development, segmentation, and deployment.
  • Ensure consistent execution and optimization of email performance metrics.
  • Measure, monitor, and report on digital marketing performance using KPIs and ROI analysis.
  • Translate data and insights into actionable recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and targeting.
  • Leverage analytics tools to support continuous testing and optimization efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop creative assets and execute campaigns.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Stay current on digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices across digital marketing activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 5–7+ years of experience in digital marketing or advertising.
  • Strong understanding of digital channels, tools, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO, lead generation, email marketing, and paid media.
  • Proficiency with web analytics and social media platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Professional services or B2B experience preferred.
