About the role
WebFX is seeking a candidate for our Marketing Account Management team! Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree, 1-2 years of experience in SEO/digital marketing, and is excited about working with clients in an agency setting. Existing experience in marketing is expected, but additional training will be provided on the job.
Qualifications
- Educational background: A Bachelor's Degree: All majors welcome! GPA: 3.4 or above
- Related experience and skills: Minimum of 1 year experience in SEO/digital marketing, or 2 years experience in a marketing role
- General knowledge of SEO
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Presentation skills
- Experience at a marketing/advertising agency (a bonus!)
- Tools/Technical Skills: Excel/Google Suite, General knowledge of Google Ads and Analytics, General knowledge of HTML
- Qualities and traits: Interest in the web, keeps up with new technology, professional, dependable, self-motivated, takes pride in work, works with urgency, proactive problem solver, lifelong learner, creative and analytical thinker, uses data to make decisions
The Job Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management (about 40% of your day): Serve as a partner and direct point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of clients, proactively providing industry insights and recommendations to drive their digital marketing success. Build long-lasting relationships with your clients based on trust and rapport, and work to maintain our world-class retention rate.
- Marketing Campaign Strategy & Execution (about 35% of your day): Develop and execute data-driven digital marketing strategies, including SEO and PPC, aligned with client business objectives. Manage significant paid search budgets across top-tier search engines, optimizing campaigns for maximum ROI and exceeding performance targets. Optimize client websites for search engines (on-page SEO), leveraging advanced techniques to enhance organic visibility and drive qualified traffic. Direct the design of web pages and other content, ensuring all functionality is operating properly and all content is up-to-date.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting (about 15% of your day): Analyze campaign performance data (In Google Analytics and RevenueCloudFX) to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization. Interpret web analytics, demographic data, market research, and buyer behaviors, and update strategies based on findings. Calculate ROI, and prepare and present regular reports that translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Marketing Research & Testing (about 10% of your day): Lead research initiatives, including keyword research and competitive analysis, to identify emerging trends and inform strategic decision-making. Spearhead A/B and usability testing, leveraging data-driven insights to improve conversion rates and enhance user experience.
