Digital Marketing Coordinator
Withers is seeking a dynamic Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our New York office. This role supports US and global marketing teams, focusing on digital marketing projects.
About the role
You will report to the Senior Marketing and Business Development Manager, with a dotted line to the Head of US Marketing & Business Development. This hybrid role requires in-office presence 3 days a week and involves collaboration with west coast and London-based digital teams.
Responsibilities
- Work with the firm's content management system (Kentico) and related digital tools to create, edit, publish, and maintain digital content, including attorney biographies, practice and industry pages, insights, events, and campaign pages.
- Support accuracy, currency, user experience, brand consistency, search visibility, and client engagement across all web content.
- Participate in the upgrade project from Kentico 13 to Kentico Xbyk, attending project meetings and assisting with user acceptance testing.
- Contribute to building an en-us version of the website, including planning, microsite build, testing, and ongoing maintenance and optimization.
- Coordinate with the London-based digital team on website updates, platform improvements, content workflows, and digital best practices.
- Support content management across additional digital platforms, such as video, podcast, or digital publication tools.
- Maintain the firm’s digital presence via Google My Business, Wikipedia, and other platforms.
- Draft, prepare, schedule, and publish social media posts across LinkedIn and Instagram, adhering to firm policies and brand guidelines.
- Create and edit social media assets, including branded graphics, images, and campaign materials.
- Support social media campaigns, events, thought leadership, awards, rankings, and attorney announcements.
- Monitor social media activity and engagement, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Educate internal stakeholders on digital and social media best practices to support employee advocacy and brand consistency.
- Use Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite to create and edit visually compelling, on-brand marketing materials, including social media assets, invitations, sponsorship ads, event collateral, newsletters, presentations, and brochures.
- Coordinate with external designers as needed and source imagery from approved stock libraries, ensuring alignment with brand style.
- Support SEO initiatives to improve search visibility, website performance, and engagement, working with the digital team and external agencies.
- Assist with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) efforts to enhance content performance in AI-enabled environments.
- Use analytics and reporting tools to track, analyze, and report on website traffic, social media performance, and campaign activity.
- Prepare reports synthesizing digital performance data and highlighting insights, trends, and recommended next steps.
- Stay informed on digital marketing trends, SEO, GEO, analytics, AI tools, and emerging technologies, sharing relevant ideas with the team.
- Assist with the preparation, distribution, and reporting of branded newsletters, event invitations, and email marketing campaigns.
- Work with the firm’s CRM and email marketing systems to support targeted communications, list management, and campaign execution.
- Track and improve email marketing performance using CRM, email management system data, and analytics.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure campaign materials are accurate, timely, and aligned with firm objectives.
- Support US marketing and business development initiatives, including digital campaigns, client communications, events, sponsorships, directory submissions, awards, and profile-raising activities.
- Assist with research on clients, prospects, competitors, markets, and industry trends to support pitches, RFPs, and marketing initiatives.
- Track, coordinate, and calendar marketing projects, digital campaigns, and related business development activities.
- Organize project information, timelines, and deliverables to ensure smooth execution.
- Support onboarding, training, and knowledge-sharing around digital tools, marketing technology, processes, and systems.
- Participate in team calls, digital planning meetings, and project discussions.
- Collaborate with the US Business Development and Marketing team, London-based digital team, CRM team, and other global colleagues.
- Build strong working relationships with external SEO, CMS, eMarketing, and design agencies to support digital and brand projects.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations to support the firm’s digital strategy.
- Work constructively with internal stakeholders, attorneys, and business services teams to understand needs and deliver digital outcomes.
- Support ad hoc digital, marketing, and business development projects as required.
- Monitor the digital inbox and respond to internal inquiries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience, preferably in a law firm, financial services, or other professional services environment.
- Strong digital and software skillset, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of InterAction (or another CRM system) and Vuture (or another email marketing system) is a plus.
- Experience utilizing social media tools in a professional setting.
- Proactive, forward-thinking, positive, energetic, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Pay
The expected hourly range for this position is between $38 - $48. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Schedule
This role is hybrid, with an expectation to be in the office 3 days a week.
