Responsibilities
- Act as a marketing support liaison for Ticketing, Broadcast, Partnerships, Merchandise, and Grassroots Hockey initiatives, ensuring league and local market initiatives are promoted across digital marketing communication channels.
- Support the briefing and distribution of league and team marketing assets and promotions for inter-departmental use across marketing communication channels, with a heavy focus on email marketing and website.
- Support the coordination and tracking of partnership deliverables at the league marketing level across web, email, and social.
- Track KPIs and create reports to monitor campaign success and inform future marketing decisions.
- Contribute to campaign research and ideation to support ticket sales, merchandise sales, grassroots growth, and marketing partnership initiatives.
- Support the building and organization of email and SMS communications and templates for transactional and newsletter communications across the league and its teams.
- Provide additional support in the execution of email and SMS campaigns and automation flows as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in sports marketing, ideally in promoting tickets, merchandise, partnerships, and/or grassroots hockey or community initiatives.
- Experience in email marketing across newsletters, transactional emails, and marketing automation.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize while meeting assigned deadlines.
- Proficiency with computers and MS Office programs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel as required.
- This position may be based in either the United States or Canada. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in their country of residence on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within web content management systems.
- Experience in Klaviyo and Vozzi, or similar email and SMS programs.
- Knowledge of HTML coding.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud platforms.
- Passion for women's hockey and/or women's sports.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 USD/CAD annually.
Schedule
This is a remote role requiring flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel as dictated by event and season schedules.
