Hybrid Goodheart-Willcox Publisher, an employee-owned company specializing in Career and Technical Education (CTE), is seeking a Digital Marketing Content Specialist. This role will follow a hybrid schedule, working a minimum of one day per week in our Tinley Park, Illinois office.

About the role

Create compelling digital marketing assets that bring the G-W brand to life through engaging storytelling and strategic content.

Responsibilities

  • Lead video strategy and creation for Marketing and Customer Success, with additional support for Human Resources projects, to strengthen G-W’s digital marketing presence and support key G-W titles and customers.
  • Create and edit approximately 50 promotional and Customer Success videos per year for key titles and customers, including product commercials, monthly webinar recordings, company presentations, and online product demos for use across web, e-mail, and social media campaigns.
  • Develop landing pages, PowerPoint presentations, webinars, and promotional collateral that support marketing campaigns, customer engagement, and sales enablement.
  • Provide state adoption marketing support by creating targeted outreach materials aligned to adoption opportunities and market needs.
  • Manage and grow the Goodheart-Willcox YouTube channel by overseeing content publishing, channel organization, content discoverability, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of five years of marketing and/or sales experience with progressively increasing responsibilities required.
  • Working knowledge of contact management software, such as HubSpot, and social media platforms required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Excel, PowerPoint, YouTube, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Strong English language, grammar, and usage skills sufficient to create marketing content that meets Goodheart-Willcox Marketing standards required.
  • Marketing and sales experience in educational publishing is a plus.
  • Graphic arts experience and proficiency with Adobe InDesign is a plus.

Pay

Market-based compensation with a starting salary anticipated between $60,000 and $68,000 per year, taking into account the candidate’s skill set, experience level, internal equity, and location.
