Digital Marketing Analyst
Overview
Veronica Beard is seeking a Digital Marketing Analyst to own the analysis, reporting, and measurement infrastructure behind our digital marketing channels. This is an analytics-first role: you'll live in the data, building dashboards, running tests, tracking KPIs, and translating performance trends into clear, actionable recommendations that shape our paid media strategy. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, has a "growth" mindset, and is comfortable moving between spreadsheets and visualization tools to find the story inside the numbers.
Responsibilities

- Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on paid channel KPIs (Paid Social, Paid Search, Display, and more), including international markets; build and maintain dashboards for channel leads and senior leadership
- Partner with the data team to ensure marketing data flows accurately into the data warehouse, and help maintain tracking and tagging (GA4, pixels, UTMs) across paid channels and the site
- Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to reporting, forecasting, and analysis workflows, piloting new tools and sharing best practices with the team
- Analysis, Insights & Testing
- Analyze performance trends, audience behavior, and conversion funnels across paid channels, evaluating ROI and attribution to inform strategy and recommendations
- Partner with our Data Scientist and other stakeholders to design and execute a testing roadmap (creative, audience, bidding, channel-mix), applying sound testing methodology and translating results into optimization recommendations
- Support ad hoc analysis of campaign tests and performance questions from across the business, translating findings into clear recommendations via PowerPoint, Excel, and dashboards for technical and non-technical audiences
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Partner with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, and spend pacing for paid performance channels, triangulating forecasts, aligning on KPIs, and flagging variances as needed
- Prepare budget and spend summaries for Finance and marketing leadership, reconciling reported spend with actuals and agency invoices, and support annual/quarterly budget planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or related field (Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or similar) preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing analytics, web analytics, or a related analytical role
- Strong SQL skills and experience querying a cloud data warehouse (BigQuery preferred); advanced Excel proficiency, additional coding languages a plus
- Experience building dashboards in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Sigma Computing
- Familiarity with ad platform analytics (Google Ads, Meta) and/or CRM/CDP platforms
- Curiosity about applying AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to improve workflows
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics (GA4), tag management, and campaign tracking/attribution is a plus
