About the role
The Digital Marketing Paid Search Analyst manages paid ads on Google or social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn. Training will be provided, so prior experience managing paid campaigns is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Setup, monitor and tune pay-per-click (PPC/SEM) campaigns on Google, Bing, and social media
- Utilize Google Analytics to shape digital strategies and maximize ROI
- Provide creative and innovative marketing ideas, concepts and designs to support customer goals and objectives
- Conceptualize, define and initiate marketing tests (A/B, multivariate, keyword bids, ad copy, and landing pages) in order to continually improve key metrics (click, search, convert) across campaigns
- Manage search campaigns and analyze underlying data to continuously improve performance
- Perform research and analysis to gain data-driven insights about search engine visitor behavior from website data on traffic patterns, order volume, conversion funnel, navigation behavior, pathing, and product selection
- Create custom reports and ad-hoc traffic analyses based on site goals to measure website performance
Requirements
- Strong analytical and marketing skills
- Confident with written & oral communication, especially as it pertains to customer management
- Experience analyzing and presenting data
- Self-motivated, positive personality with excellent interpersonal skills
- Past Sales or Project Management experience a plus
- Ability to work on numerous concurrent projects while still hitting deadlines
Qualifications
We are primarily seeking candidates that live in the Greensboro or Wilmington, NC area. We will consider very strong candidates that live outside the area, but no relocation assistance will be available.

Average salary range: $40,000 - $60,000 per year
