About the role

The Digital Learning Specialist plays a key role in supporting and advancing digital instruction across district elementary schools. This position directly aligns with the district's strategic and technology objectives, ensuring the integration of technology into teaching and learning processes. The Digital Learning Specialist leads efforts to enhance digital citizenship, promote computer science education, and improve both student and staff proficiency with digital tools. By collaborating with classroom teachers, this position helps implement technology-enhanced learning experiences that are in line with state standards, fostering an engaging and effective digital learning environment.

Location: Concord Elementary and Cornelia Elementary | Status: Exempt | Schedule: 0.5 FTE, additional non-licensed hours may be available.

Responsibilities

  • Support and advance the Edina Public Schools' mission, vision, and core values through digital instruction.
  • Enhance digital citizenship and promote computer science education.
  • Improve student and staff proficiency with digital tools.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement technology-enhanced learning experiences aligned with state standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minnesota teaching license(s): K-6 Elementary Education

Pay

The 2026-2027 starting salary range for this position is $52,926 to $124,444 (pro-rated based on FTE). Salary offers will consider the candidate's experience, education, skills, and the school district's budget. Experienced candidates should expect a salary offer around the midpoint of the salary range. In exceptional cases, salaries exceeding the midpoint may be offered to attract candidates for hard-to-fill positions or those with specialized skills.
