Responsibilities
- Work alongside the team to create a plan for influencer and social media strategies for more than one client
- Coming up with unique influencer ideas and strategies to create buzz
- Aid in the growth of the brand by raising awareness through various social media platforms
- Comfortable jumping on trends and developing content
- Build a community across platforms (community management)
- Maintain and update social media accounts
- Monitor postings to ensure brand message is constant
- Aid in the daily aspects of promoting the business's campaigns
- Interact with followers and potential customers by communicating and answering questions through the company's social pages
- Aid in implementing plans to increase followers on popular social media websites such as Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn
- Oversee the creation and implementation of a monthly editorial which includes monthly sales/messaging objectives and initiatives
- Develop content as dictated by the monthly editorial calendar to promote messaging, sales, blogs and products
Requirements
- Deep passion for social media focused on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook; experience working with social media profiles and influencers a big plus or worked with CPG clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field.
- 20-28 hours a week
- Go into the office once a week and on-site locations when needed
- Ability to take direction as well as work independently
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and a positive can-do attitude
- One year of social media management or influencer marketing experience a plus
- Familiar with multi-social posting through programs such as Sprout Social and Airtable
- Comfortable working with Power Point, Excel, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
- General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content
- Entry level experience determining how to cater unique marketing campaigns to a unique audience
- Ability to work alongside a diverse group of employees and simultaneously work toward many company initiatives at once
- Entry level understanding of marketing strategy and how to use the concepts throughout various forms of outreach
- Team player with a positive mentality to do what it takes to complete a goal, no matter how big or small the tasks are
About You
- Not afraid to jump in with two feet and try new things
- Familiarity with Gen Z audience and stay up to trends and in the know (pop culture)
- Know who is relevant in the music space, influencer space, and have your finger on the pulse
- Open to listening to all types of people’s points of view and ways of thinking
- Comfortable dealing with and helping with the emotions of others
- Have previous social, influencer and/or graphic design experience in the workforce
- Think outside the box - is extremely creative
- Interested in the way these campaigns and social media can positively impact lives
- Understand the nuances of internet culture
