About the role

The Digital Infrastructure and Cloud Computing Practice at Greenberg Traurig is seeking an Associate to join the team. This position can be based in either our Miami or Chicago office.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and draft purchase and sale agreements, data center leases and development agreements, service level agreements, loan documents, and operating/joint venture agreements.
  • Represent clients in various cloud transactions across more than 100 countries, including data center operators, cloud service providers, telecommunications carriers, content providers, investors, and lenders.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of transactions, including terrestrial network deals and submarine cable consortium and private subsea cable contracts.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, accepting significant responsibility and managing a challenging workload.

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in cloud computing and/or data center transactions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of maturity.
  • Proven willingness to take on more responsibility and lead in the practice area.
  • Strong academic credentials and writing skills.
  • Admitted to or eligible for admission to the relevant jurisdiction.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Competitive compensation with a range of $250,000 to $350,000 per year, adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors.

Pay

The expected pay range for this position is $250,000 to $350,000 per year, with actual pay adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Schedule

Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
