Associate - Telecom & Digital Infrastructure

About the role

Lazard is seeking an experienced investment banker to join our Telecom & Digital Infrastructure group. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of investment banking experience, with a strong preference for M&A experience in the telecom and digital infrastructure sector. Strong interest and prior relevant sector experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analyses and create models
• Create and deliver client presentations and meeting materials
• Interact with senior client executives
• Manage deal processes
• Mentor and coach junior analysts

Requirements

Top academic performance with comfort operating in an environment that values initiative, creativity, maturity, and poise. Strong quantitative background and analytical skills, coupled with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multi-task. Motivation to work as a team player and contribute to a positive team culture. A bachelor’s degree is required, with an MBA and/or JD being assets.

Qualifications

Experience in investment banking, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, capital structure, and capital raising. Strong interest in Telecom & Digital Infrastructure investment banking. Top academic performance with a demonstrated ability to handle complex financial analysis and present findings effectively.
