About the role
We are seeking a Digital Twin Engineer to develop, validate, and deploy discrete-event simulation models that support operational decision-making, process optimization, and capacity planning. The successful candidate will leverage simulation, data analytics, and digital technologies to evaluate complex systems, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Simio models for manufacturing, supply chain, or operational processes.
- Analyze simulation results to identify bottlenecks, optimize resource utilization, and support business decisions.
- Extract, transform, and analyze data using SQL and Databricks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define simulation requirements and translate business challenges into analytical solutions.
- Prepare technical reports, visualizations, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Simio.
- Working knowledge of Databricks, SQL, and data analysis workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python, process optimization, digital twins, or manufacturing systems analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud-based analytics and data engineering practices.
