  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs using ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagrams
  • Develop and maintain SCADA systems, HMIs, alarm-management solutions, data historians, and remote-monitoring capabilities
  • Create electrical schematics, P&IDs, control-panel layouts, and technical documentation
  • Lead system integration, commissioning, testing, and validation of new equipment and control-system upgrades
  • Partner with operations, maintenance, and process-engineering teams to identify and implement automation improvements
  • Troubleshoot control systems, industrial networks, and fieldbus communications, including Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus, and DeviceNet
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable safety and regulatory standards, including NFPA 79, UL 508A, and OSHA requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or digital-systems design
  • Proficiency with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, Siemens TIA Portal, or equivalent systems
  • Experience with SCADA platforms such as Ignition, FactoryTalk View, Wonderware, or similar technologies
  • Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols, fieldbus systems, and control-system cybersecurity
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and technical-documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • ISA Certified Automation Professional certification
  • PE license, EIT certification, or an interest in pursuing professional licensure
  • Experience with robotics, motion-control systems, Industry 4.0, or Industrial Internet of Things implementations
  • Knowledge of IEC 61508, IEC 61511, Safety Instrumented Systems, or functional-safety principles
  • Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Manufacturing Execution Systems, or ISA-88 batch-control applications

Pay

$85,000–$105,000 annually

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Paid vacation, sick leave, and company holidays
  • Life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage
  • Tuition reimbursement and support for certifications, licensing, and advanced technical training
  • Access to industry conferences, technical workshops, and professional memberships
  • A collaborative engineering environment focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and career development
