Job Summary/Description
We're looking for a high-energy, creative, and focused Digital Content Producer to join our award-winning news team. This is a critical newsroom role. We're looking for excellent writers and communicators, multi-tasking professionals, and experts ready to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Adopts a digital-first mindset. Works closely with our Digital Content Manager and owns our digital and social media coverage.
- Works closely with MMJs in the field and with producers and anchors in the newsroom.
- Works closely with our team of meteorologists and helps provide life-saving emergency weather information to our audience on multiple platforms.
- Develops contacts and sources across our television market.
Qualifications/Requirements
- A four-year degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Team player mindset.
