DIGITAL CONTENT PRODUCER - WSMV
About the role
WSMV-TV is an NBC-affiliated television station located in Nashville, TN, serving Music City and its surrounding communities. It is part of the Gray TV family and is seeking an experienced digital content producer.
Responsibilities
- Write and post content, including news stories, videos, and pictures, across all WSMV digital and social platforms.
- Coordinate live streams across multiple platforms.
- Promote content on social media through engaging posts.
- Monitor news sources to develop news content.
- Provide support to television producers.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience as a digital news content producer, preferably in a television newsroom.
- In-depth knowledge of digital and social platforms and current trends.
- Experience using a content management system.
- Strong editorial skills.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Premiere.
- Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism or related field.
