Job Summary

The Manhattan Institute (MI) is a community dedicated to advancing economic opportunity, individual liberty, and the rule of law. We seek a Digital Content Producer to amplify City Journal's content across various social media platforms.

About the Role

As a Digital Content Producer, you will work closely with MI Senior Fellow Christopher F. Rufo and Jordan Chamberlain, Manager of Rapid Response. Your responsibilities include creating, editing, and packaging multimedia content for distribution on platforms such as X, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.

Responsibilities

  • Create and edit short-form video content
  • Packaging multimedia content for various social media platforms
  • Monitor and clip relevant media
  • Understand and leverage short-form video trends and platform-specific algorithms
  • Meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Turn complex ideas into engaging short-form video content

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in video editing, social media content production, digital media, and broadcast clipping
  • Advanced proficiency with video editing software
  • Experience with media monitoring and clipping tools
  • Deep understanding of short-form video trends and platform-specific algorithms
  • Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative storyteller with a strong visual eye
  • Familiarity with the work of City Journal and a desire to support MI's mission

Pay

The salary range for this position is $90,000-$140,000/year. The salary offered to a candidate will depend on skills, experience, and education.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule.
