About the role

Join our dynamic team as a Digital Content Coordinator in Manchester, NH Office for Retail Groups. Enjoy a flexible work schedule with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays and collaborate in the office from Tuesdays through Thursdays.

Responsibilities

  • Create and curate content for Retail Group member websites.
  • Provide creative direction, source, and resize images for new website content.
  • Edit content to maintain consistent quality, voice, messaging, and brand alignment, with a focus on SEO optimization.
  • Load content, make website updates, and optimize SEO properties through our website content management system (CMS).
  • Manage and update content via our website content management system (CMS).
  • Ensure accurate SEO properties are captured and correctly applied.
  • Collaborate with internal teams using project management software to communicate and document completed work.
  • Offer creative direction, source, and resize images for new website content.
  • Assist with reputation management and provide support to additional teams needing content assistance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or Journalism or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in content generation and search engine optimization.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to discuss broad or complex concepts and simplify them into clear, concise messaging to target audience across various formats and channels.
  • Solid understanding of basic SEO implementation and content writing.
  • Solid experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook).
  • Experience with SEO copywriting and platforms such as Conductor and BrightLocal is a plus.
  • Experience with CMS platforms (like WordPress), Google Analytics and HTML is a plus.
  • Strong spelling and grammar, along with the ability to communicate courteously, tactfully, and concisely with both management and members are necessary.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SEO research and strategy.
  • Ability to manage and update content via CMS.
  • Experience with project management software.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Skills

  • SEO copywriting and platform experience (Conductor, BrightLocal).
  • Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress).
  • Google Analytics and HTML proficiency.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Project management and communication skills.
