Job Responsibilities

The Digital Account Manager (DAM) is responsible for optimization and account management of all digital campaign plans associated with pre-sale and post-sale, supervised by the Digital Sales Manager (DSM). The primary role of the DAM will be to work with the DSM, Digital Client Service Specialist (DCS) and Account Executives to provide clients targeted solution recommendations, ongoing campaign optimization, and insightful post sale reporting. This position works closely with the DSM and DCS to collaborate and oversee digital advertising campaigns across our full suite of Hearst digital solutions.

  • Media plan creation
  • Campaign optimization
  • Reporting
  • Campaign retention and renewal
  • Ensuring prompt and proper resolution of advertiser business issues

Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales support, media operations, marketing, advertising, or a related field preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Military training and experience will be considered in lieu of media sales experience
  • Broadcast television, digital advertising, or media industry experience is a plus

Qualifications

  • Advanced skills utilizing Google Analytics and Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present campaign performance data
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and dependable in a fast-paced environment
