About the role
The Clinical Dietitian provides nutrition screening, assessment, care, and education to patients across all ages, under the supervision of the Manager, Clinical Nutrition.
Responsibilities
- Conducting nutrition screenings and assessments
- Delivering personalized nutrition care and education
- Serving a diverse patient population from neonatal to geriatric
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human nutrition or dietetics from an accredited institution
- Registration as a Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration upon hire
- Within six months, obtain Washington Dietitian or Nutritionist Certification
- Completion of an accredited dietetic internship or equivalent experience
Skills
- Strong knowledge of nutrition principles and clinical practices
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Certification in specialized areas (renal, pediatric, oncology, gerontological nutrition) or clinical healthcare experience (preferred)
