Dietitian - Per Diem

About the role

The Clinical Dietitian provides nutrition screening, assessment, care, and education to patients across all ages, under the supervision of the Manager, Clinical Nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Conducting nutrition screenings and assessments
• Delivering personalized nutrition care and education
• Serving a diverse patient population from neonatal to geriatric

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human nutrition or dietetics from an accredited institution
• Registration as a Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration upon hire
• Within six months, obtain Washington Dietitian or Nutritionist Certification
• Completion of an accredited dietetic internship or equivalent experience

Skills

• Strong knowledge of nutrition principles and clinical practices
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Certification in specialized areas (renal, pediatric, oncology, gerontological nutrition) or clinical healthcare experience (preferred)
