Dietitian

30 hours/week, full-time position located at 8101 Brookriver Drive, Dallas, Texas, 75247.

About the role

As a Registered Dietitian at DaVita, you’ll be a vital member of each patient’s core care team. You will analyze lab-work results and educate patients—and their families—on nutrition to help them live better lives. This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze patient lab-work results and provide dietary education.
• Influence and lead patients in making health-conscious nutrition decisions.
• Work flexible schedules, potentially across multiple facilities, and travel as needed.
• Complete the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80% after hire and training.
• Demonstrate intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and DaVita-specific applications within 60 days.

Requirements

• State licensure required if available in the state where the facility is located.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a similar area.
• 1 year of clinical experience and successful completion of the CDR exam to obtain registration as required by CMS.
• Two years of specialized renal experience preferred.
