Dietitian

We are seeking qualified Dietitians to join the Nutrition Services Department in a healthcare facility. Responsibilities Include Assessing medical nutrition therapy needs based on diagnoses, laboratory values, medications, and other health factors.Developing, implementing, and managing individualized nutrition care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.Providing counseling and education to patients and families on nutrition principles.Making referrals to optimize care and follow-up, advocating for nutrition support for acutely ill patients, and serving as a consultant to medical staff and the community.Mentoring students and interns in nutrition and dietetics. Qualifications Include Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.Successful completion of a dietetic internship.Continuing education per certification maintenance policies.Within 6 months, obtain Alaska Dietitian or Nutritionist License.Hold a National CDR Registered Dietitian credential upon hire. Preferred Experience At least one year of clinical experience with adult patients.At least one year of clinical experience with pediatric patients.
