About the role

AMG Specialty Hospital – Zachary is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian.

Responsible for planning therapeutic diets and implementing meal preparation and service for patients in the hospital. Ensures dietary staff performs effectively and maintains compliance with the Department of Public Health. Assures patients receive appropriate diets as ordered.

Responsibilities

• Plans therapeutic diets for patients in the hospital
• Implements meal preparation and service for patients
• Maintains compliance with Department of Public Health regulations
• Ensures dietary staff performs effectively
• Affirms patients receive proper diets as ordered

Requirements

• Current Louisiana Dietitian licensure
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)
• Registered Dietitian (RD)

Qualifications

• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
• Additional languages desirable
