Dietician/Food Service Supervisor (PACE)

Work Location: 1214 Vaughn Rd, Burlington, NC 27217 - Piedmont Health SeniorCare (PACE) in Burlington

Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the Dietician is to provide nutrition care and education to Piedmont Health SeniorCare participants and provide oversight of dining services in the center, including supervision of the dietary services coordinator.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Responsibilities

• Evaluate participants' nutritional status
• Develop and implement nutritional care plans
• Assess nutrient requirements
• Recommend nutritional prescriptions
• Evaluate participant tolerance and effectiveness of nutritional care
• Communicate nutritional data and information to physicians and other health professionals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution approved by the ACENT (Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics) with a major in nutrition
• Master’s Degree preferred
• One year of experience with the frail or elderly preferred
• Clinical dietetics experience preferred
• Valid NC driver’s license
• Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment
