Dietary Manager

About the Role

Powerlink is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Dietary Manager to join our Foodservice Operations team. We provide award-winning and highly successful solutions in Food and Nutrition Services, Environmental Services, Institutional Laundry Services, and Facility Maintenance to Long-Term Care and Senior Living Facilities across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the foodservice department.
• Provide leadership, support, and guidance to ensure food quality standards, food safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met.
• Oversee all training and quality control while adhering to established policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all current federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain records and complete reports, including web-based reporting.
• Manage purchasing, food handling, preparation, service, and operation of all kitchen equipment.
• Uphold safety and sanitation compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience managing the food and nutrition services department in acute care, long-term care, or hospitality industry.
• Associate degree in food service management, food and nutrition, nutrition and dietetics technician degree, culinary arts degree, or related field.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English to communicate effectively with others.
• Current ServSafe® certification.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
• Knowledge of purchasing, food handling, preparation, service, and operation of kitchen equipment.
• Strong background in safety and sanitation compliance.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations as applicable.
• Must be local to Flagstaff and surrounding areas.
• Ability to work flexible hours and days.

Preferred Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of food and nutrition services management experience in healthcare and/or senior living environment.
