Hutchinson Health and Rehab of Hutchinson, KS is looking to hire a full-time Dietary Manager to join our dynamic and caring clinical team.
About the role
As a Dietary Manager, you play a vital role in our clinic. You assume overall responsibility for all operations of the Dietary Department. You work with residents and other team members to plan menus and food service programs, monitor the stock level of food, supplies, and equipment, and order as needed. You monitor for residents' condition changes, accidents, and incidents, and report any of these. You follow dietary procedures, related laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing home operations.
Responsibilities
- Plan menus and food service programs in collaboration with residents and team members
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment; place orders as needed
- Observe and report residents' condition changes, accidents, and incidents
- Adhere to dietary procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines for nursing home operations
Requirements
- Current CDM certification preferred (willing to assist with certification for the right candidate)
- Knowledge of dietary procedures, related laws, regulations, and guidelines for nursing home operations
- One year of experience in long-term care
- One year of supervisory experience
- Desire to work with seniors
- Trustworthy, respectful, dependable, professional, and a team player
- Strong communication skills and ability to establish rapport with others
Pay
$23 to $25 per hour
