About the Role

Craneville Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located in Dalton MA, is currently seeking a Dietary Manager to lead our kitchen crew! Our amazing staff welcomes you to join our facility that is filled with friendly faces and new opportunities!

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of and hands on experience with menu creation and food production
• Ability to coordinate dietary services with other departments
• Inventory, Order, and store food and material supply weekly
• Assume administrative authority and accountability of supervising dietary staff and the overall function of the Dietary department in strict compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and code
• Visit with residents daily to ascertain diet and food preference information

Requirements

• Certified Dietary Management (CDM)
• Previous cooking experience required; long-term care or healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different kitchen teams.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive attitude.
• ServSafe Certification
